Live Out Loud, LLC ("Live out Loud," "we," "us," "our") operates a social platform that rewards people for real-world activities. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using the platform you agree to this policy and to our Terms of Service.
When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and approximate birth date (month and year, used to confirm age eligibility). As you use the platform, we store content you post (text, images, and videos), your dreams and passions, fitness and activity logs, event RSVPs and check-in photos, poll votes, quiz responses, referral relationships, connection requests, and your LOLcoin balance and reward history. We also store technical data needed to operate your account, such as notification history and sign-in method.
If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from that provider as part of sign-in. We do not receive your password.
Live out Loud includes a map of where members are active. To support it, we collect the location you choose to share: your state, and optionally your city. You may also provide a zip code for local event and people matching. We do not collect continuous or precise GPS location in the background.
Your location is shared on the platform according to your settings. By default we keep your placement at the state level for privacy, and your name is visible only to your connections. You can add or remove your city at any time, and clearing your state removes you from the map.
We use your information to operate and improve Live out Loud, including displaying your posts to other users, tracking your LOLcoin earnings and rewards, placing you on the map, matching you with local events and people, and maintaining your account. We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a hosted database platform. Images and videos you upload are stored in Supabase Storage. We use reasonable security measures to protect your data, but no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

You can view, edit, or delete your posts and profile information at any time within the app. You can delete your entire account and associated data from Settings using "Delete My Account," which removes your account server-side. You can also email us to request access, correction, or deletion, and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request a copy or deletion of it, to correct inaccurate information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Our legal bases for processing are your consent, the performance of our agreement with you, and our legitimate interest in operating and securing the platform. Live out Loud is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. For more detail, see our Child Safety Policy.
LOLcoins are a virtual reward within Live out Loud. They have no guaranteed monetary value and are not money, a security, or an investment. The LOLcoin system may evolve over time, and any changes will be reflected in updates to this policy and our Terms of Service.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
